The final day of the KTDA Foundation Free Medical Camp at Wandumbi Dispensary brought powerful stories, heartfelt gratitude and a deep reminder of why farmer health truly matters. In this video, Director Catherine Mankura shares reflections from the ground, alongside real impact stories from farmers who received essential medical services throughout the three-day initiative. From eye care and cancer screening to physiotherapy, mental health support, TB and lung checks, RBS tests and general triaging, this medical camp has been a lifeline to hundreds of farmers—strengthening lives, families and the tea value chain as a whole. This initiative was made possible through the collaboration of KTDA Foundation, Gathuthi Tea Factory, the Ministry of Health–Nyeri County, Lions Eye Hospital & Vision Spring, Majani Insurance and Britam. Together, we continue to champion the belief that a healthy farmer is a productive farmer—and that sustainable communities begin with accessible healthcare. Watch these powerful testimonies from the ground and witness the impact created over the three transformative days.
