Building Bridges for Women’s Economic Empowerment

The Building Bridges for Women’s Economic Empowerment (BBWEE) program aims to deliver innovative and collaborative solutions in addressing various issues that women workers face in the workplace. Through transparent and collaborative dialogue between factory management and women’s organizations, we hope to identify practical solutions to support that which is raised by the workers. Women Win’s commitment is to identify and action win-win solutions that benefit both the women workers as well as the business in the long run, so that together we may take small steps towards women’s economic resilience.

The main aim of the project is to ensure that women working in global chains are economically resilient.

Impact and Progress

  • Head Office Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) committee 2-day training which led to system strengthening of the committee of 19 staff members.
  • 6 factories will benefit from Gender committee training:- East of Rift:- Kagwe, Nduti, Gathuthi and West of Rift:- Olenguruone, Boito, Litein.
