KTDA Foundation seeks to support growers and producers to meet their challenges by building resilient businesses and improving quality of life for their communities. The Sainsbury’s Fairly Traded premiums aims at more resilient and sustainable businesses and communities for the producers who supply Red and Gold label teas.
Impact and Progress
KTDA Foundation took a lead role in the management and oversight of the project development process with a focus on four key programmatic areas of environmental sustainability, economic empowerment, health, and education these also align with SFTSP’s vision of change that looks at; Social development and community empowerment, Environmental sustainability and stewardship and Economic resilience.
The 9 factories have started their project and each factory was able to establish the project that will benefit their farmers.
