As part of Monitoring and Evaluation, KTDA Foundation made a site visit to Ambusket Secondary School in Olenguruone Tea Factory Catchment in Nakuru to assess the progress they’ve made in robotics and coding. Ambusket is one of 12 schools that has benefited from the Robotics and Coding:-Enhancing Digital Literacy for Lifelong Learning in Tea Communities Programme.
The site visit included activities such as recording class observations, documenting showcase events, impact story collection, issuing of certificates to the teachers and mask distribution to both STEM club members and their teachers.
The students have successfully assembled robots that solve day to day problems including a water/tea dispenser, a security alarm and a street light, an improved aeroplane is also in progress.
