Chinga Tea Factory ELF Graduation

Farmers in Chinga Tea Factory who were beneficiaries of the Enhancing Livelihoods Fund (ELF) project hosted a team from the Ethical Tea Partnership led by the Executive Director Jenny Costelloe on 15th March 2022.

The farmers showcased their innovative income-generating activities and shared testimonials on how the project has improved their livelihoods. The project supported farmers to uproot low yielding tea bushes and replace them with resilient tea clones. Additionally, the beneficiaries have received training on diversification, business skills and received grants to support in establishing innovative income-generating activities.
