Tombe Medical Camp
KTDA Foundation in collaboration with the County Department of health, Nyamira are currently running a 3 day medical camp, that started on Wednesday, 15th of December and will end today 17th of December 2021 at Tombe Health Centre in Tombe Tea Factory catchment.
Some of the services offered to the community members include:- rapid blood sugar tests, blood pressure monitoring, Prostrate Surface Antigen (PSA Tests), COVID-19 Vaccines (Johnson and Johnson and AstraZeneca) nutrition and health talks, cervical and breast cancer screening, malaria tests, consultation and pharmaceutical services.
The main aim of the camp is to give access to free medical services to the community, which will improve the health of the small holder tea farmers.
