Achievements of the Gender Empowerment Program

The cultural and societal norms that perpetuate gender inequality are deeply rooted around the world. Our work with the Gender Empowerment Platform has made strong progress on tea plantations in Kenya. Women and their allies there are now able to assert their rights and take on leadership roles and address discrimination and gender-based violence.
