Kangaita Medical Camp

KTDA Foundation in partnership with Ketepa Ltd, Kangaita Tea Factory and the County Government of Kirinyaga held a free health camp in Kangaita tea catchment, Kirinyaga County in an effort to help farmers identify and manage their health challenges early.
The camp ran from Wednesday 24th November to Saturday 27th November 2021. It was preceded by a 2 day Community Health Volunteers (CHV) training.
The camp was also part of the push for a more sustainable tea farming industry for farmers. Healthy farmers produce more, and earn more from their business.
