Nduti Tea Factory 3-Day Medical Camp

KTDA Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Murang’a County and Nduti Tea Factory, is conducting a free 3-day medical camp at Mukuria Dispensary in Kandara Sub-County starting today, 30th June 2021 and will end on 2nd July 2021. The medical camp has been preceded by the training of 10 Community Health Volunteers (CHVs), who will be part of sensitizing the farmers on health-related issues.

During the camp, community members within the factory catchment will receive screening services for Breast, Cervical and Prostate cancers, blood sugar and pressure screening, general health treatment and many other medical services.

KTDA managed tea factories through the KTDA Foundation have thus far supported over 45 medical camps with over 50,000 community members receiving treatment and referral services and over 1 Million community members reached through nutrition messages over the last four years.
